Abba Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
Memory Verse: Romans 8:15 - For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, Abba, Father.
We belong to God. He is our Abba, our daddy, our maker. He has proven himself through his track record. If we look into scripture, we will see what the Lord our God has done.
He is the God that shut the mouth of lions for Daniel. He turned a fiery furnace into an air-conditioned room for Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. He put his power into a stone so that David would defeat Goliath. He multiplied five loaves of bread and two fish and fed 5,000 men not counting women and children. He made water flow from a rock for the Israelites and parted the sea to let them cross over to the other side.
He healed the centurion’s servant even without seeing him. He raised Lazarus who had been dead for four days. He sent down fire from heaven to consume the wet sacrifice that Elijah had set and he shamed Baal and all his followers. He made Mary bear a son without knowing any man. He walked on water and defied science and all its principles.
These and many more are the things He has done. God our Father has inspired many beautiful occurrences in the past and He is still in the business of doing more today. In fact, He wants to do something extraordinary in your life. Something that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and minds have not conceived.
All He’s asking of you is to let Him into your life.
Revelations 3:20 says Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and I will eat with them, and they will eat with me.
Remember, Psalms 23 says the Lord has prepared a table for you in the presence of your enemies. Because Abba is eating with you on that table, the snares of the evil one can never get you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer: Abba Father, You are my all in all. You are more than enough for me.
Lord you are more than enough for
