Elohim: Mighty Creator
Man may run out of options but God always creates new options because He is the Mighty Creator. So whenever it seems like you have run out of options, always trust God to make a way. And He will!
Bible Reading: Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Memory Verse: John 1:3 - All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
Welcome to a new week! We will be continuing the series we started last week titled - The Names of God. Here’s a recap just in case you missed it.
Today, we will be considering God’s Name - Elohim. It means the Mighty Creator or The Strong Creator.
If you read through the first chapter of Genesis and the first chapter of John, you’ll see firsthand the creative power of God. When the world was void and formless, He spoke and it became.
To darkness, he called forth light, and darkness had no choice but to give way.
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing could have been created.
Understanding God as Elohim is understanding Him as the Strong One whose Word is Power. When He speaks over any situation at all, a change is bound to occur.
Nothing can withstand the Word of God. His Word is mighty to the pulling down of strongholds.
Man may run out of options but God always creates new options because He is the Mighty Creator. So whenever it seems like you have run out of options, always trust God to make a way.
Like the Israelites, you may be between the rock and a hard place; between the raging Egyptians and the Red sea. But trust God when He tells you that the Egyptians you see today you’ll see them no more forever!
Sometimes I imagine what it would have been like to be on that scary journey fleeing away from the Egyptian oppressors. I sometimes imagine what it must have been like to arrive in front of that Red sea and think that all is over for me.
But it is never over until God says so. How He will solve your matter you’ll never ever be able to imagine it until He has done it.
The Bible says - Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and it has not come into the heart of man what God will do for those that love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9).
When God told Moses to stretch forth his rod to the sea, it must have seemed like a joke but when Moses obeyed, the sea parted to the left and to the right and dry ground appeared.
God is the Mighty Creator, Elohim Himself, and He is able to turn again the captivity of Zion.
So whenever it looks like you’re having a rough time and help doesn’t seem to be coming from anywhere, call on Elohim and trust Him to create a way for you.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for your Word. I trust you everyday and I know that even at the toughest times when it seems like all hope is lost and everything is over, You, Elohim will show up for me in a mighty way and create a solution for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Thank you Lord for your goodness and mercy endureth forever. Dear Elohim I ask that you make a way for me where there seems to be no way. Amen
